We stopped for the first time Friday afternoon we were early 4 pm so no crowd. Everything was awesome! Great brisket Mac and cheese beans and jumbo chicken wings! Too bad we live downstate! They close for the season October 1st.
Stopped there for lunch today with the family. I don't consider us to be BBQ aficionados, but we thought everything was outstanding. Probably the best food on our trip so far. We had the pulled pork, wings, baked beans mac and cheese and rolls. Thought the pulled pork was amazing. Their sauces were great. Especially liked the apple and smokin'. Wings were really good and so were the baked beans. Mac and cheese was decent. One thing we really loved also was the apple butter for the rolls. In hindsight, should have asked if we could buy some to bring home. Service was great as well. Great gem in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommend it.
Great food and great service. I think we tried a little of everything and no complaints about any of it. If anyone has a problem with this place look around, you can't find food like this for 300 miles. Would gladly come back anytime. Thanks again.
The brisket was the best I've ever had. The sauces were all excellent. The manager was super nice. Very very clean everything. Keep up the awesome job! See you next summer!
The food was good and the place was very clean looking. However the food does not deserve to be called Barbacue. They cook their meat in an OVEN, then put a variety of sauces on the table for you to add flavor. No smoker, no cooked in flavor. The sandwiches were nice, just not barbecue like the sign an name says.
