I stumbled upon this pet friendly campground and thought it was pretty awesome. It is six miles off the main road, but worth the drive! This site is rustic, no water or electric. I personaly did not see a potable water(hand pump). It does have nice pit toliets available Our site was big and had moderate privacy. Surrounded by the trees until you take a very short path (from some sites) to the open beach. You can walk out about 75 yards or so and walk up on a sandbar. The beach is clean. I loved walking on the beach in the evening.
We camped here years ago with are kids glad to see it is still open. Had many good times here
This is a great campground! It's about 5 miles off US2, rustic, no power or electricity, nice sites, good pit toilets. The beach is beautiful and the water of Lake Michigan is refreshing! There are some very nice hiking trails but be sure to bring the bug spray.

23 nice clean campgrounds, some backing right up to beautiful and clean Lake Michigan beach. We will return. Rustic camping, few pit toilets (non flush), fire ring and picnic table at each campsite. $13 per night.
